Toshiko Nakajima

Born in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, Japan

* 2009: B.F.A. in Ceramics, Department of Crafts, Faculty of Art and Design, Joshibi University of Art and Design
* 2011: Completed the Utatsuyama Craft Workshop, Kanazawa

Currently based in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan, where she creates her ceramic works. She has presented numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout Japan.

The quiet, natural movement within clay reveals new expressions as it is transformed through fire into ceramics.

Each piece brings new discoveries—inviting me to reflect, to learn, and to appreciate the ever-changing beauty that emerges from the material itself.
